Versace Spring/Summer 2018: In Praise of Femininity
Milan has become a city of celebration. As the curtain to the Versace runway drew open, out came some of the most iconic supermodels of the 1990s, all of whom were muses to former creative director Gianni Versace (who tragically passed away in 1997). Taking his place was his sister Donatella, who has since become a notable figure on her own, as she continued his brother’s legacy of empowering women to embrace their femininity and sexuality.
This spectacle was on full display at their latest runway show, where we saw luscious silk pieces and patterns inspired by the atelier’s archive. From Andy Warhol velvet print dresses, to opulent Renaissance-themed skirts, painting-like gold chain handbags, and bejeweled strappy stilettos – the collection is proudly glamorous yet surprisingly timeless. #FindYourLuxury and see Versace’s latest womenswear collection below.

5. A Supermodel Finale
In essence, the Versace woman is one of both beauty and sensuality – ideas that have only become more relevant in today’s uncertain landscape. And with Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Carla Bruni, and Helena Christensen embodying this ideal in the runway finale? All the more is her power emphasized.
